Upon completion of Grade 12, students can receive dual high school diploma if they meet the criteria below;

1. KFS Diploma – through internal assessments

In order to fulfill KFS diploma requirements, students must earn a total of 23 credits through internal assessments from Grade 9 to Grade 12, complete their Service Learning Hours, and submit their Global Perspectives Research Paper.

KFS Subjects:

  • 4 credits English Language and General English

  • 4 credits Mathematics 

  • 3 credits Social Studies (Global Perspectives)

  • 2 credits Science

  • 2 credits Second Language (Spanish) 

  • 2 credits Physical Education

  • 2 credits Art & Design

  • 2 credits Elective (Chemistry/ Business/ Art)

  • 1 credit Global Perspectives Research

  • 1 credit Service Learning

Global Perspectives Research Paper:

Research project at the end of Grade 11 or 12 that requires students to:

  • identify a research topic

  • devise, justify, and develop an appropriate research question

  • plan and carry out research, identify, justify, and use research methods

  • write a 2000 word report

  • use appropriate academic conventions for presentation of the report

  • keep track of progress using a research journal

Service Learning:

Service learning that is cumulative and spans grades 9-12; it is graded on success in the following areas:

  • 80 recorded hours (minimum)

  • accepted proposal(s) and completion of projects

  • four-year running journal of detailed processes

  • documentation of location(s) and hours

  • oral or written reflection(s) of service experience

  • end-of-service interview with coordinator

2. Cambridge AICE Diploma – through external examinations

Minimum 7 credits must be received through Cambridge AS & A level examinations in Grade 11 and 12, while 1 credit from each group is a must. AS level courses take a year and grant 1 credit, while A level courses take two-year and grant 2 credit. 

To be eligible for the AICE program, students must meet certain criteria, including achieving a minimum grade of C in both internal and external exams in relevant subjects, as well as achieving a satisfactory score on the MAP test. The final decision regarding admission to the program will be made by a panel consisting of the Cambridge Programme Coordinator and Principal.

Group 2 Languages: English Language (9093)

Group 3 Arts and Humanities: Business (9609), International History (9489)

Group 4 Optional: General English (8021)

Core: Global Perspectives and Research (9239)
