Cambridge International Programmes at KFS
Korea Foreign School is an authorized Cambridge International School and Examinations Centre, offering Cambridge programs tailored for various age groups: Lower Secondary (11-14 years old), Upper Secondary (14-16 years old), and Advanced (16-18 years old). By providing the Cambridge Lower Secondary program, we deliver a well-rounded education to students, supporting their growth in school, work, and life. With a curriculum covering subjects such as English, mathematics, and science, students have ample opportunities to foster creativity, communication, and overall well-being.
Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (Grade 6 to 8)
Cambridge Lower Secondary is typically for learners aged 11 to 14 years. It helps students for the next step of their education, providing a clear path as they progress through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate way.
By offering Cambridge Lower Secondary, we provide a broad and balanced education for learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work and life. With eight subjects including English, mathematics and science, there are plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing in a variety of ways.

Cambridge Upper Secondary Programme (Grade 9 to 10)
Cambridge Upper Secondary is typically for learners aged 14 to 16 years. Cambridge Upper Secondary builds on the foundations of Cambridge Lower Secondary, although learners do not need to complete that stage before this one. So they can join at any grade level.
Cambridge Upper Secondary offers learners Cambridge IGCSE assessments, which learners take internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE qualifications at the end of Cambridge Upper Secondary.
Cambridge IGCSE assessment can include written, oral, coursework and practical assessment. This broadens opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning, particularly when their first language is not English. In many subjects there is a choice between core and extended curricula, making Cambridge IGCSE suitable for a wide range of abilities.
Grades are benchmarked using eight internationally recognised grades, A* to G, which have clear guidelines to explain the standard of achievement for each grade. Cambridge IGCSE examination sessions are taken, in June at KFS. Results are issued in August.

Cambridge Advanced Programme (Grade 11-12)
Korea Foreign School is an authorized Cambridge International School, which offers Cambridge Advanced (AS & A Levels) and AICE Diploma for its high school students.
We are also recognized as Cambridge International Exam Centre for students to take Cambridge International Exams at KFS.
Cambridge International learners are widely accepted at top-ranking universities in the US, UK, and Australia, as well as many other parts of the world at over 1400 institutions across 195 countries.
