After School Activities

After School Activities (ASA)

Korea Foreign School offers a wide variety of After School Activities (ASA). We are proud to present an assortment of new clubs this year that are geared towards our students’ interests and that is focused on integrating technology as well as applying and honing skill sets for various levels.

After School Activities form an important element of our education. Good education is very much about good balance, offering students the opportunity to enrich their school life in various ways both academic and non-academic. ASAs are an integral part of the school curriculum. All the students are expected to participate without exception unless they are sick or medically unfit.

Our ASAs are twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm, where teachers are responsible for leading the activities. Students and parents are able to select different activities for Tuesdays and Thursdays. At the end of the semester, students are able to switch to new ASAs to give the opportunity to participate in new classes.

After School Activities are open to all students who attend KFS. A few activities may be restricted to certain grade levels. This information will be included in the activity description later in this handbook.

Activities are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Most activities will be held at KFS School Building. A few activities will be held at locations other than KFS. This will generally occur when the activity is unique and requires facilities not available on our school. The specific locations will be listed in the activities handbook.

Transportation will be provided to home based on the KFS after school activities. The school buses will depart at approximately 4:05 p.m.
