Parent Teacher Partnership

KFS Parent Teacher Partnership (KFS-PTP), a volunteer association formed by parents and school representatives.

To involve parents and teachers in promoting the welfare of students, and to actively support and foster the integration of parents, teachers, and students into the KFS community.

KFS-PTP objectives are:

  • To promote a sense of community among teachers, parents, and students
  • To provide a safe discussion environment for parents and teachers to share ideas so that we can enhance educational opportunities in both the PYP and MYP
  • To encourage parents to participate in school events and activities
  • To help KFS connect to and stay closely knit with its surrounding community
  • To assist in raising funds and receiving donations for school-related initiatives

KFS-PTP has been organizing annual events such as Family Day and International Day. We also help to coordinate family brunches and organize talks and activities for parents, students, and teachers. This year, we are excited to help organize some workshops with parents and teachers about different components and events within the IB’s PYP and MYP, such as strategies for supporting KFS students’ mother tongues.
